The Assistant Room — Membership Terms & Conditions

1. Your Membership & Code of Conduct

Your membership is your responsibility. By joining The Assistant Room, you agree to conduct yourself in accordance with our code of conduct at all times. This means treating every member, and every member of our team, with dignity and respect. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any membership where this standard is not upheld.

2. Confidentiality & Account Security

Your membership is issued to you as an individual licence holder. No part of this platform, including its content, resources, community spaces, or tools, may be shared with, accessed by, or passed on to any other person. Your username and password are strictly personal and must not be shared under any circumstances.

3. Intellectual Property

All content within The Assistant Room membership, including but not limited to training sessions, recordings, frameworks, concepts, templates, documents, and resources, is the sole intellectual property of The Assistant Room. Nothing within this membership may be reproduced, distributed, shared, or used outside of your personal membership without express written permission from The Assistant Room.

4. Non-Disclosure & Competitor Use

The concepts, frameworks, tools, and resources contained within this membership are strictly for your personal professional use. They are not to be shared with, adapted for, or used by any other individual, organisation, or competitor, in any format, for any purpose.

5. Concierge Desk: Exclusivity & Respect

When you submit a request to our concierge desk, you are handing that task over to us entirely. During that time, you agree not to engage any other party to fulfil the same request. Our concierge team invests significant time and care into every enquiry, and we ask that this is respected fully. We also ask that all communication with our team is conducted with courtesy and professionalism at all times.

6. Membership Value & Fair Use

The Assistant Room membership includes an extensive range of services, tools, and resources, the vast majority of which are included at no additional cost. We ask that all members engage with the membership in good faith, respect the time and effort that goes into maintaining it, and make use of the services responsibly and reasonably.

7. Account Management

Your membership account is managed entirely by you. For legal and financial reasons, The Assistant Room does not make changes to member accounts on your behalf. This includes cancellations, tier changes, and pauses. All account management is your responsibility and must be carried out directly through your account settings.

8. Renewals & Refunds

The Assistant Room does not offer refunds under any circumstances. It is your sole responsibility to manage your membership renewal date. We do not send renewal reminders, and no exceptions will be made. By joining, you confirm that you understand and agree to this policy in full.

9. Payment Failure

If a payment fails, your access to the platform and its resources will be suspended immediately until the matter is resolved. You can update your payment details at any time by signing in to your account, navigating to the Account tab, and entering your new payment information. For legal and financial reasons, The Assistant Room is unable to manage payment updates on your behalf.

10. Cancellation & Right to Terminate

We offer one of the most flexible memberships in the industry, with no sign-on fee, no cancellation fee, and no minimum term. You can cancel your membership at any time, for any reason, directly through your membership platform. As long as you cancel before your renewal date, you will not be charged again. Because of the flexibility and affordability of our membership model, we do not offer refunds. The Assistant Room also reserves the right to terminate a membership at any time where a member is found to be in breach of these terms and conditions.

11. Changes to Membership Benefits & Pricing

The Assistant Room reserves the right to update, change, or remove membership benefits and to adjust pricing at any time. Where possible, we will notify members in advance of any significant changes. Continued use of your membership following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of them.

12. Data Protection

The Assistant Room is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and handles all personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By becoming a member, you consent to your personal data being processed in accordance with these standards. Our full Privacy Policy is available on our website.

13. Minimum Age

You must be 18 years of age or older to hold a membership with The Assistant Room. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

14. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from your membership will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Amendments to Terms & Conditions

The Assistant Room reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Where possible, members will be notified of any material changes in advance. Your continued membership following any amendments constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
