The Assistant Room is now accepting applications for its 2027 Contributor Programme, open to personal assistants (PAs) and executive assistants (EAs) worldwide.
Applications close on Friday 11 December 2026, and successful applicants will hear back the week commencing 14 December 2026.
Big news, everyone. The doors are officially OPEN!
You might know it as our Ambassador Programme. We’ve renamed it the Contributor Programme because that describes what it really is: a network where everyone has a voice, adds value and helps shape the conversation about the assistant profession.
And the timing couldn’t be better. As The Assistant Room heads into its 10-year anniversary in December 2026, we’re building the boldest, most brilliant and most diverse group of PAs and EAs the profession has ever seen. Ten years in, we’re going bigger than ever, and we want you right there with us.
What is The Assistant Room Contributor Programme?
The Contributor Programme brings together personal and executive assistants from around the world who want to share their experiences, advice and expertise with the wider PA community. Contributors share their voice across the year on the topics that matter most to assistants today, helping to elevate the profession globally.
Why become a contributor? The benefits
Don’t just take our word for it. Here’s what members of our former Ambassador Programme have seen:
- New opportunities at work. Being part of the programme has opened doors internally.
- Greater recognition. Colleagues and execs have noticed what they’re doing.
- A standout CV. Members have added their contributor role to their CV as proof they go above and beyond.
- Speaking opportunities. Their voice here has led to invitations to speak.
- A personal brand that takes off. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and it’s grown their profiles in ways they never expected. In a word? Epic.
This is your chance to do the same. Grow your personal brand, elevate your voice across the global PA industry, and share what you know with assistants who need to hear it.
The six pillars for 2027
We’re looking for contributors who want to share their thoughts, advice, guidance or comments on our six content pillars:
- Burnout and the mental load of being a personal or executive assistant
- Feeling stuck, quitting or pivoting in your assistant role
- Execs and office politics
- Productivity and ways of working
- Confidence and career progression
- Money, AI and the future of the assistant role
Pick one, pick a few, or bring your voice to all six. Just bring it!
