A letter from our founder
I created The Assistant Room in 2016 when I stepped away from my career as an EA after 10 years. I was burnt out, demotivated, emotionally exhausted and I felt at a loss as to where my career would take me next. I know what it feels like for people to say ‘you’re just a PA’ and I understand what it’s like to feel lonely and unsupported in your role. I know what it’s like because I’ve been that person.
It’s WHY I created The Assistant Room.
I described my job as a lifestyle choice, supporting Execs on the personal and business side and I needed a place to go for support to make the impossible possible across both settings. The problem was, back in 2016, a blended support platform of business and lifestyle assistance just did not exist…so I created it.
