The Assistant Room is the world’s leading membership community and professional development platform for Personal Assistants and Executive Assistants. Founded in 2016 by Jessica Gardiner, it brings together training, events, resources, community and coaching, all built specifically for the PA and EA profession. It is the only platform of its kind dedicated entirely to the career development and professional growth of assistants.
The Assistant Room is for Personal Assistants, Executive Assistants, Virtual Assistants and business support professionals at every stage of their career, from junior assistants just starting out to senior EAs operating at the highest levels of business. If you work in a support role and you’re serious about your professional development, The Assistant Room is for you.
The Assistant Room was founded by Jessica Gardiner in 2016. Jessica began her own career as an Executive Assistant before going on to become one of the most recognised voices in the PA and EA profession: a speaker, coach, consultant, podcast host and one of Management Today’s Top 35 Women Under 35. She built The Assistant Room because she knew, from the inside, that the profession deserved better.
Unlike general networking groups or generic professional development platforms, The Assistant Room was built from scratch specifically for Personal Assistants and Executive Assistants. Everything, the training, the events, the resources, the concierge desk and the coaching has been designed with the PA and EA profession in mind. It is led by someone who has lived the role, and it is the only platform that combines professional development, community, performance tracking and one-to-one coaching in one place.
The Assistant Room membership gives Personal Assistants and Executive Assistants access to a comprehensive suite of professional development tools and resources, including on-demand training, live workshops, in-person and virtual events, a private member community, exclusive resources, a concierge desk and accredited learning, all in one place, available whenever you need it.
Members have access to a growing library of on-demand courses, live workshops and training sessions covering every aspect of the PA and EA role, from productivity, communication and technology to leadership, wellbeing and career development. All training is designed specifically for Personal Assistants and Executive Assistants.
Yes. When you complete training through The Assistant Room, you receive an official certificate of completion, recognised within the PA and EA profession and a valuable addition to your professional portfolio.
Members receive access to The Assistant Room’s calendar of in-person and virtual events throughout the year including networking events, workshops, roundtables and member socials. Events are designed exclusively for Personal Assistants and Executive Assistants and are a key part of the community experience.
The concierge desk is an exclusive member benefit that handles event and supplier requests on your behalf. We only work with suppliers we have personally tried and trust implicitly, if we recommend someone, it’s because we have direct experience with them. Our team negotiates on your behalf, saving you both time and money, and we track exactly how many hours we’ve saved you and how much has been negotiated, so you can see the real value in action. The concierge desk is managed by our Head of Concierge, Tamara Rudd.
Yes. As a member of The Assistant Room you earn rewards, both through your general membership and when you use the concierge desk. Rewards range from bottles of champagne and luxury hampers to dining vouchers and overnight stays at five-star hotels. The more you engage with your membership, the more you get back.
In addition to training, events and resources, members have access to a private community, a space to connect with ambitious PAs and EAs from around the world, ask questions, share advice and build a professional network. Members also benefit from exclusive resources, templates and tools, and priority access to new content and events.
