Founded in 2016, The Assistant Room exists to transform the future of Business Support Professionals, a community too often overlooked when it comes to career investment and leadership development.
After over a decade as an Executive Assistant to C-suite leaders, our Founder Jessica Gardiner built the first-ever global platform dedicated to empowering, developing, and celebrating support professionals.
Today, we span 30+ countries and 60,000+ members, partnering with FTSE 100 companies, global corporates, and high-growth businesses. We deliver measurable results including a 40% boost in retention, 55% faster onboarding, and 35% uplift in internal promotions. Whether supporting individuals or corporate groups of up to 300 professionals, our impact scales across entire organisations.
Through award-winning events, an internationally acclaimed podcast, and our industry-leading membership, we provide expert-led training, career tools, and a global network redefining excellence in support. Our concierge service has saved businesses over £5 million in event, training, and resource costs – proving that developing support professionals drives both growth and efficiency.
With an audience reach of 2 million annually and a track record of transforming careers, The Assistant Room is not just raising the standard; we are setting it.
When I launched The Assistant Room in 2016, it was because I could see what so many others overlooked; that PAs and EAs are the powerhouses behind every successful leader and organisation. Yet our industry wasn’t being celebrated, supported, or given the recognition it truly deserved.
I wanted to change that. What started as my vision for a diverse and empowering space has grown into the largest global network of PAs and EAs, with over 60,000 people engaging in our community every single day. Today, we partner with corporate organisations around the world who provide The Assistant Room club membership to their assistants, ensuring their teams have access to the tools, resources, and community they need to thrive.
Over the past five years, I’ve spoken at more than 200 events, collaborated with leading brands like Legal & General, Deliveroo, L’Oréal, and Monzo, and was honoured to be named one of the UK’s most successful 35 women in business.
So, welcome. You’ve found the only corner of the internet you’ll ever need as an assistant and the start of your journey with a global movement that’s redefining what it means to be one!
