When it comes to collaborations with brands, getting the venue and the vibe to compliment each other can be a tough balance to achieve. On this occasion, it was the opposite and with two of my favourite ladies on hand to make an evening in Oxford Circus one to remember, I fondly write this article with the hopes that another collaboration will soon be on the cards!
Introducing Coppa Club and Perfect 10, my two super brands that are high on my love letter list. First things first, let’s talk about the space. If you are unfamiliar with the name Coppa Club, I would be confident (if you are London based) that you had seen the cabanas located at their Tower Bridge site, adorned with beautiful Wisteria overlooking the River Thames, splashed all over Instagram. As one of the most sought after venues for brunch and cocktails, the brand is renowned for bringing something a little different to the norms of themed hospitality even featuring glass igloos at Christmas last year which fast became one of the top winter hotspots in the city. With four sites in total, Tower Bridge, St Pauls, Oxford Circus and Sonning, it was the lower ground floor in their Oxford Circus venue that we adopted for the evening.
As the best place for eating, drinking, meeting and unwinding post shopping on the busiest street in the world, you walk into Coppa Club to be greeted by a brass bar and open-plan kitchen lined with stools which run along the length of Coppa Club’s ground floor restaurant. Outside, there is a large, covered terrace with heaters and lighting that can be used all year round with blankets and pillows to keep your comfort levels at their maximum.
With a lounge vibe in the area where we were situated, with club chairs, low tables and a cocktail bar, it was Perfect 10 Mobile Beauty that joined us for the evening to add an extra element to the night.
The beautiful and inspirational Charlie McCorry, Founder of Perfect 10 Mobile Beauty and Essie ambassador joined us with her a-team of therapists for an evening of pampering for all those in attendance. What more can you wish for? A glass of champagne in one hand while having your nails done…the dream! Setting themselves up for an influx of needy hands to the back of the room with a beautiful collection of Essie nail polishes for all guests to choose from, I jumped at the very rare chance to have my fingertips paid attention to. I was like a child in a sweet shop working out which colour to choose for my 5 minutes of total relaxation, something I rarely get these days!
As seen in Vogue, Tatler, Stylist, The Times and many more, there simply is no other mobile beauty service that as an ex PA, I would trust to not only look after me but also the person and or people I have previously supported in a professional capacity. Taking it one step further within a widely saturated market, Charlie’s entrepreneurial spirit and ambition has taken her from strength to strength launching her Black Label service, the elite division of Perfect 10 which is loved by none other than a-list celebrities and British Royalty. WOWZA!
Specifically designed to offer an unrivalled personalized and confidential service, as a black label member you are the touch of a button away from an all-encompassing beauty service providing the upmost in elite standards and privacy. They are a 24-hour service with a philosophy that is centered around two core values, unrivalled convenience and exclusive standards of indulgent beauty.
Looking to take a therapist with you on a holiday with friends for on the spot spray tanning, manicures or blow dried barnets? Is your boss going away and is looking for massages on the fly or last minute grooming? Charlie can make it happen. They are literally the dream and unbelievably accommodating even for the most hard to please customers.
As guests began to arrive and after I had my nails tidied up with a slick of neutral gel polish, the champagne and white peach sangria began to flow. After introductions all around between guests and to Charlie from Perfect 10 and Lucy Watson, Events Manager at Coppa Club, the atmosphere was buzzing and a room full of PA’s from local businesses were in full conversation with each other talking about everything from their upcoming holiday plans to the task of Christmas party planning which lay ahead of them.
Coppa Club’s simple but powerful brand presence is executed perfectly with limited fuss on everything from the drinks and food menu to the service from the staff. You are extremely well looked after without being suffocated, leaving you to really be able to enjoy your visit as a guest rather than a customer.
As the food began to arrive, an array of chorizo, chicken skewers, mini burgers and super sized pizzas were set around the room. With a menu that focuses on thoughtful, unfussy, European food from small plates and snacks to grilled mains, sourdough pizzas and healthy salads, Coppa Club has nailed the perfect menu for casual dining and private events/parties.
As the evening began to draw to a close, it was obvious to me and all in attendance how well suited this venue for everything from casual drinks with colleagues/friends is to even the idea that it would be the perfect location for a Christmas office party would be. Without the whopper price tag that you would expect for such a centrally located venue, Coppa Club in Oxford Circus will definitely be the one venue in the area which will be high on my recommendations list for years to come.
